Special Offer: £25 off a full Shiatsu session

Have you tried a Shiatsu taster but never had a full session? Are you completely new to Shiatsu?

I have been awarded a bursary by The Shiatsu Society UK so that I can offer £25 off a full-length Shiatsu session to two people who have never had one before. Please contact me on shiatsu@ryoho.co.uk if you are interested. T & Cs apply (see below).

What is Shiatsu?

Shiatsu is a preventative, complementary therapy that is used to help maintain and promote health. You keep your clothes on when receiving Shiatsu.

I offer Shiatsu in Edinburgh, Scotland and can visit you at home if you cannot get to me (there are steps up to the treatmemt room).

Most people find that Shiatsu is a deeply relaxing experience. They come for a session to relax, de-stress, and find balance in their daily lives. It is a holistic therapy that respects all aspects of you as an individual.

Who am I?

I qualified as a Shiatsu practitioner in 1995 after 4 years of study, and have an inclusive practice, working with people of all ages with a wide range of health concerns. I have extensive experience of Shiatsu during pregnancy, with babies and children, and as part of cancer care. Also the author of Death and Loss in Shiatsu Practice, a guide to holistic bodywork in palliative care, my book was published by Singing Dragon on 21st August 2020

I am currently focusing on touch for those who are grieving or at the end of life. I worked on the Complementary Therapy team at my local hospice in Edinburgh.

T & Cs

You will be asked to fill in a client consent and undertaking form, and sign it, before you receive your Shiatsu treatment. This should be returned to me along with some feedback about how the session was for you (approx. 100 words each) within 3 days of the session.

The book, Death and Loss in Shiatsu Practice is available to buy from Waterstones, Hive or Amazon. Also available on Kindle.
